How to register with fena

Step 1: Go to our website - https://business.fena.co/ 


Step 2: Hit “Sign up” to register for a new account, or login if you already have one


Step 3: To create an account, you will need to fill in the relevant information about you and your company (all mandatory field are marked with a red asterisk). Just follow the pages and add the information prompted - the exact information requested varies depending on whether registering as a registered company or a sole trader/individual



Step 4: You’ll then move onto ID verification. This is covered in more detail in this guide. In this step, you’ll be asked to provide ID and then provide a selfie. If your business is a registered company, this must be completed by a director (listed on Companies House). If you aren’t a director, you’ll be given the option to invite them to complete ID verification, and can then continue the sign-up process.

Step 5: And finally, you will be asked to link a bank account which will be the default account associated with your account. 

If your bank account is displayed as an option, please use the "Connect with banking app" option. You just need to select your bank, hit continue, scan the QR code or continue to online banking, login to your account and and then approve from your app/online banking




If your bank is not listed, then select "Connect account manually". You will need to upload a bank statement from the previous 3 months - this is used to verify that the account associated with your fena account is held in the name of the company (for registered companies) or in the name of the individual (for sole traders/individuals)




Step 6: Once all these steps are complete, you'll receive an email with a link to verify your email address. 

Fena will then review and authorise your account prior to you making payment requests. This process should be completed within 24 hours of all steps being completed (if you skipped any steps, then you’ll be prompted to complete these before you can start requesting payments). You’ll receive an email once your account is ready to use, or if we need any more information.


Step 7: Start requesting payments!
