All organisations using fena payments must completed ID verification and pass Anti Money Laundering checks. This is a regulatory requirement. You can either send a link to your merchant when you’re adding the customer (see our guide), or alternatively after adding them head to Merchants > Find the merchant you added > Click into them > "Verification" > Copy the link and share with the director
Once shared with them, when they click the link they’ll be asked to upload a copy of their ID and complete a live selfie
Once the director is verified, you can see this from the partner portal. The status will update to “Verified”
If there are any issues, fena will reach out to you to explain what’s happened and what’s required from your merchant
Please note: Verification is usually completed automatically. However, if manual checks are required then these are completed multiple times throughout the day
